Alison Ann Jiear ...
I was born the youngest of five children. My parents Gordon and Valmai met in the church choir. They both had beautiful voices, as do my four siblings.

I grew up in a house surrounded by warmth and laughter. Music was such an integral part of our childhood. From school concerts & singing competitions to staging and producing concerts at the age of 10 in my father's garage, I always felt my parents' support & encouragement.
I had a wonderful childhood and for that I'm so grateful.

I moved to London ...
I currently reside in Hertfordshire. I have two incredible sons and a family of loyal & loving friends.
I am happiest when I am close to the ocean with my face toward the sun. I am an Australian through and through.

In addition to my work as a vocalist, I am a certified, award-winning Celebrant, officiating wedding & funeral ceremonies throughout the UK. How wonderful to now have TWO jobs that bring me such great joy.

Career
I have enjoyed a varied career, combining my work in Cabaret, Musical Theatre, as a session vocalist and solo concert artist.
I feel most at home on the concert stage and love nothing more than standing in front of a jazz quartet, a swinging 17-piece big band or a symphony orchestra.
